Green Flame Solutions Uganda Ltd is a renewable energy company committed to providing affordable, sustainable, and innovative energy solutions to households, institutions, and businesses across Uganda.

We specialise in improved cook stoves, electric cooking solutions, biogas systems, solar energy products, and energy-efficient technologies — all aimed at reducing environmental degradation and improving livelihoods.

Job Purpose

The Sales and Marketing Agent will promote the company's products and services, identify potential customers, generate sales leads, and support customer engagement activities. The role focuses on increasing product awareness, expanding the customer base, and contributing to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Promote and sell products and services to individual and institutional clients.
  • Identify potential customers and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct door-to-door marketing, field activations, and customer outreach.
  • Follow up on leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and performance goals.
  • Prepare quotations and assist customers with product information.

Marketing

  • Support implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Create awareness through community engagements, exhibitions, and social media.
  • Distribute marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and promotional content.
  • Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to support business growth.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients, sales, and field activities.

Reporting & Administration

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and strategy sessions.

Qualifications

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field
  • Previous experience in sales or marketing is an added advantage
  • Experience in renewable energy, clean cooking, or community mobilization is desirable

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to convince and negotiate with customers
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Basic computer and smartphone literacy
  • Good customer care and relationship management
